CRTC2 (Human) ELISA Kit
CRTC2 is a transcriptional coactivator for CREB1 which activates transcription through both consensus and variant cAMP response element (CRE) sites. These proteins promote the transcription of genes targeted by the cAMP response element-binding protein, and therefore play an important role in many cellular processes. BioVision’s CRTC2 (Human) ELISA Kit is based on the Sandwich ELISA principle. Capture antibody was precoated onto 96-well micro ELISA plate and the biotin conjugated antibody was used as detection antibody. The standards, test samples, and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, incubated and followed by washing. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding the acidic stop solution. The density of color is proportional to the amount of CRTC2 captured from the samples.
