CTHRC1 (Human) ELISA Kit

Collagen Triple Helix Repeat Containing-1, CTHRC1, is a 30kDa secreted protein that has the ability to inhibit collagen matrix synthesis. CTHRC1 is glycosylated and retains a signal sequence consistent with it being secreted from the cell. overexpression of CTHRC1, which has been reported in various malignancies, is suggested to serve as an independent prognostic factor. BioVision’s CTHRC1 (Human) ELISA Kit is based on the Sandwich ELISA principle. A 96-well plate was coated with capture antibody. And the biotin conjugated antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples, and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently and washed with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding the acidic stop solution. The density of color is proportional to the amount of CTHRC1 captured from the samples.
