MAP2K1 Antibody (Biotin)

Anti-MEK1 Monoclonal Antibody was produced in mice by repeated immunizations with synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acid residues near the C-terminus conjugated to KLH.

This biotin conjugated protein A purified mouse monoclonal antibody reacts specifically with human MEK1. Anti-MEK1 is purified from tissue culture supernatant by protein A purification. Cross reactivity is expected to occur with human, mouse, and rat based on sequence identity of the peptide immunogen. This antibody does not react with the MEK2 isoform.

Store vial at -20° C or below prior to opening. This vial contains a relatively low volume of reagent (25 μL) . To minimize loss of volume dilute 1:10 by adding 225 μL of the buffer stated above directly to the vial. Recap, mix thoroughly and briefly centrifuge to collect the volume at the bottom of the vial. Use this intermediate dilution when calculating final dilutions as recommended below. Store the vial at -20°C or below after dilution. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.

Anti-MEK 1 Biotin Conjugated (MOUSE) Antibody has been tested by Western Blotting and ELISA. Specific conditions of reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band of approximately 43.5 kDa.
