Purity
This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Biotin coupled to sepharose beads followed by pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Biotinylated IgG and Biotinylated Bovine Serum Albumin. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin or anti-Goat IgG F (c) .

Storage Conditions
Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.

Applications Notes
F (ab') 2 Anti-Biotin has been tested by ELISA and is assayed against 1.0 μg of Biotinylated BSA in a standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Goat IgG [H&L] (Rabbit) and (ABTS (2,2’-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1,000 to 1:5,000 is suggested for this product.
