PIP5K1A Antibody

Rabbit anti-PI4K alpha antibody, Phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate 5-kinase type-1 alpha, PIP5K1-alpha, PtdIns (4) P-5-kinase 1 alpha, 68 kDa type I phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate 5-kinase alpha, Phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate 5-kinase type I alpha, PIP5KIalpha, PIP5K1A

Anti-PI4K, type I alpha affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to an internal region of human PI4K, type I alpha protein.

Anti-PI4K, type I alpha was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with mouse and human based on 100% sequence homology. Cross-reactivity with PI4K, type I alpha from other sources has not been determined.

Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.

Anti-PI4K alpha antibody is tested by IHC and ELISA useful for Western Blot. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately ~62.6kDa corresponding to the appropriate cell lysate or extract.
