CAVIN1 Antibody

Rabbit anti-Cavin1 antibody, rabbit anti-PTRF antibody, CAVIN 1, cavin-1, Cavin1, polymerase I and transcript release factor, Caveolae-associated protein 1

PTRF affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human PTRF.

Anti-PTRF was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. This antibody is specific towards Cavin 1 PTRF. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Human based on 100% sequence homology. Cross-reactivity with PTRF (polymerase I and transcript release factor) from other sources has not been determined.

Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.

Anti-PTRF antibody is useful for ELISA, Immunostaining, and Western Blot. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Protein Molecular weight: 60 kDa. Expect a band approximately ~40.5 kDa corresponding to the appropriate cell lysate or extract.
