This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Dog Serum. Cross reactivity was determined by immunoblot (western) to be minimal against porcine kidney and porcine liver cell lysates.

Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.

This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Pancreatic Islet Lysate [Porcine Pancreas] in a standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Dog IgG [H&L] (Goat) and o-Phenylenediamine (OPD) as a substrate. A working dilution of 1:50 to 1:100 is suggested for this product. This product has been assayed against 1.5 ug of Pancreatic Islet Lysate [Porcine Pancreas] per lane by immunoblot (western) under reducing conditions of SDS-PAGE prior to transfer to nitrocellulose and detection using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Dog IgG [H&L] (Goat) and Diaminobenzidine (DAB) as a substrate. A working dilution of 1:50 to 1:200 is suggested for this product.
