Cefpimizole (U-63196E) is a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic. Cefpimizole inhibits many Ampicillin (HY-B0522) -resistant bacteria, and is active against gram-negative species. Cefpimizole augments phagocytosis of macrophages and neutrophils[1][2].
