Lychnopholide

Lychnopholide is a sesquiterpene lactone derived from the Asteraceae, Lychnopholide exhibits anti-trypanosomal activity against Trypanosoma cruzi. lychnopholide encapsulated in nanocapsules reduces its toxicity to mammalian cells. Lychnopholide ameliorates Chagas disease in mouse models[1].
