Retagliptin (SP2086) hydrochloride is a potent inhibitor of beta-amino acids and dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4). Retagliptin (SP2086) hydrochloride inhibits type 2 diabetes and improves glycemic control by prolonging the action of intestinal hormones such as glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1)[1].
