Specificity

This antibody binds to CD5 glycoprotein primarily expressed on thymocytes and mature peripheral T lymphocytes. CD5 is a member of the scavenger receptor superfamily and primarily expressed on thymocytes and mature peripheral T lymphocytes, but not on NK cells, intestinal intraepithelial gamma/delta T cells.
