Brevicidine is a non-ribosomally synthesized antimicrobial peptide with potent antibacterial activity against Gram-negative pathogens. Brevicidine disrupts the morphology of bacteria by binding to polysaccharides (LPS) on bacterial cell membranes to form holes[1].
