SAF-p1 is a self-assembling fiber peptide that can form sticky-ended heterodimers by assembling with SAF-p2 through complementary amino acid sequences. These heterodimers further self-assemble into long-chain fiber structures. SAF-p1 is promising for the development of nanomaterials in the biomedical field.
