Tridodexylmethylammonium chloride, also known as TDMAC, is a cationic surfactant commonly used in various industrial and research applications. It belongs to the family of quaternary ammonium compounds and has a positively charged head and a hydrophobic tail, which allows it to be used as a detergent, emulsifier and antimicrobial.
