(+) -Magnoflorine (α-Magnoflorine) is an aporphine alkaloid and antifungal agent. (+) -Magnoflorine can be isolated from the aerial parts of Clematis parviloba. (+) -Magnoflorine shows potent antifungal activities against Penicillium avellaneum UC-4376 with a minimal inhibition amount of 5 μg/disc. (+) -Magnoflorine has significant antifungal activities against T. rubrum and T. mentagrophyte with MIC values of 62.5 μg/mL and 62.5 μg/mL, respectively[1][2].
