Chavicol
Chavicol (p-Hydroxyallylbenzene, compound 6) can inhibit acetylcholinesterase (Cholinesterase (ChE) ), with an IC50 of 7.42 μM. Chavicol has anti-cancer activity and can suppress the growth, survival, migration, and invasion of cancer cells. Chavicol cytotoxic effect is significant, approximately 31 μg/mL in A-549 cells[1][2].
