Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:128000.Western Blot:Preliminary experiments gave an approx 125kDa band in Human Liver lysates after 0.3μg/mL antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 104kDa according to the largest fragment C3 alpha chain (aa672-1663) . Although this fragment is glycosylated, we have not yet found support in the literature for the observed size. The 125kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field. Please note that a different antibody developed to a different part of the protein showed identical results: EB11703.

Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.
