The IL-13Ralpha1 (Phospho-Tyr405) Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor IL-13Ralpha1 (Phospho-Tyr405) protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of IL-13Ralpha1 (Phospho-Tyr405) in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on IL-13Ralpha1 (Phospho-Tyr405) .

Function

Binds with low affinity to interleukin-13 (IL13) . Together with IL4RA can form a functional receptor for IL13. Also serves as an alternate accessory protein to the common cytokine receptor gamma chain for interleukin-4 (IL4) signaling, but cannot replace the function of IL2RG in allowing enhanced interleukin-2 (IL2) binding activity.
