ENOS Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA
The eNOS Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor eNOS protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of eNOS in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on eNOS.

Function
Produces nitric oxide (NO) which is implicated in vascular smooth muscle relaxation through a cGMP-mediated signal transduction pathway. NO mediates vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) -induced angiogenesis in coronary vessels and promotes blood clotting through the activation of platelets.
