SSXT Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA
The SSXT Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor SSXT protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of SSXT in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on SSXT.

Tissue Specificity
Fairly ubiquitously expressed. Expressed in synovial sarcomas and in other human cell lines. The fusion genes SSXT-SSX1 and SSXT-SSX2 are expressed only in synovial sarcomas.

Function
Appears to function synergistically with RBM14 as a transcriptional coactivator. Isoform 1 and isoform 2 function in nuclear receptor coactivation. Isoform 1 and isoform 2 function in general transcriptional coactivation. Component of SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling subcomplex GBAF that carries out key enzymatic activities, changing chromatin structure by altering DNA-histone contacts within a nucleosome in an ATP-dependent manner (PubMed:29374058) .
