FRK Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

The FRK Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor FRK protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of FRK in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on FRK.

Function

Non-receptor tyrosine-protein kinase that negatively regulates cell proliferation. Positively regulates PTEN protein stability through phosphorylation of PTEN on 'Tyr-336', which in turn prevents its ubiquitination and degradation, possibly by reducing its binding to NEDD4. May function as a tumor suppressor.
