TNF Receptor II Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA
The TNF Receptor II Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor TNF Receptor II protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of TNF Receptor II in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on TNF Receptor II.

Function
Receptor with high affinity for TNFSF2/TNF-alpha and approximately 5-fold lower affinity for homotrimeric TNFSF1/lymphotoxin-alpha. The TRAF1/TRAF2 complex recruits the apoptotic suppressors BIRC2 and BIRC3 to TNFRSF1B/TNFR2. This receptor mediates most of the metabolic effects of TNF-alpha. Isoform 2 blocks TNF-alpha-induced apoptosis, which suggests that it regulates TNF-alpha function by antagonizing its biological activity.
