The nNOS Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor nNOS protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of nNOS in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on nNOS.

Tissue Specificity
Isoform 1 is ubiquitously expressed: detected in skeletal muscle and brain, also in testis, lung and kidney, and at low levels in heart, adrenal gland and retina. Not detected in the platelets. Isoform 3 is expressed only in testis. Isoform 4 is detected in testis, skeletal muscle, lung, and kidney, at low levels in the brain, but not in the heart and adrenal gland.
