ADD2 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit
The ADD2 Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor ADD2 protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of ADD2 in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on ADD2.

Function
Membrane-cytoskeleton-associated protein that promotes the assembly of the spectrin-actin network. Binds to the erythrocyte membrane receptor SLC2A1/GLUT1 and may therefore provide a link between the spectrin cytoskeleton to the plasma membrane. Binds to calmodulin. Calmodulin binds preferentially to the beta subunit.
