The OCT3 Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor OCT3 protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of OCT3 in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on OCT3.

Transcription factor that binds to the octamer motif (5'-ATTTGCAT-3') . Forms a trimeric complex with SOX2 on DNA and controls the expression of a number of genes involved in embryonic development such as YES1, FGF4, UTF1 and ZFP206. Critical for early embryogenesis and for embryonic stem cell pluripotency.
