Anti-Hepatitis Virus A59 Nonstructural Protein 9 1a Monoclonal Antibody

Boster Bio Anti-Hepatitis Virus A59 Nonstructural Protein 9 1a Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # M19765) . Tested in IF, WB applications. This antibody reacts with Mouse.

Product Specifications

Background

The nonstructural protein 9 (nsp9) is one of the Mouse hepatitis virus replicase cleavage products, encoded by ORF1a. Nsp9 is an RNA-binding protein that is thought to be part of the viral replication complex, which is associated with intracellular membranes.

Synonyms

Hepatitis Virus A59 Nonstructural Protein 9, MHV-A59 nsp9 protein

Gene Name

1A

UniProt

P0C6V0

Host

Mouse

Reactivity

Mouse

Cross Reactivity

No cross reactivity with other proteins.

Immunogen

This antibody was produced in mice by repeated immunizations with E.coli derived full-length MHV-A59 nsp9 protein. This protein is part of the viral replicase polyprotein.

Clonality

Monoclonal

Clone

Clone: Clone: 2C6.H1 IgG2b kappa

Applications

IF, WB

Purification

This antibody is directed against the MHV-A59 nsp9 protein. This product was purified from tissue culture supernatant fluid by Protein A chromatography. No cross-reactivity occurs with SARS CoV nsp9. Cross-reactivity with homologues from other sources has not been tested.

Concentration

2.112 mg/mL by UV absorbance at 280 nm

Form

Liquid (sterile filtered)

Function

The papain-like proteinase 1 (PL1-PRO) and papain-like proteinase 2 (PL2-PRO) are responsible for the cleavages located at the N-terminus of the replicase polyprotein. In addition, PLP2 possesses a deubiquitinating/deISGylating activity and processes both 'Lys-48'- and 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains from cellular substrates. Antagonizes innate immune induction of type I interferon by blocking the phosphorylation, dimerization and subsequent nuclear translocation of host IRF-3 (By similarity) .

Shipping Conditions

Due to dry ice shipping issues, this product is temporarily not available to distributors outside of the United States.

Storage Conditions

Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Expiration date is one (1) year from date of opening.

Fragment

IgG2b kappa

Applications Notes

This antibody has been tested for use in immunofluorescence microscopy and western blotting. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately 13 kDa in size corresponding to mature MHV-A59 nsp9 by western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract. For immunofluorescence microscopy, Vero-E6 cells were grown on glass slides followed by infection with MHV-A59 strain and fixation with PBS/3% PFA. After washing and permeabilization of the fixed cells, antibody incubation was performed in PBS/5% FCS for 30 min.

Other Gene Names
