This product is intended for research and analytical applications. 2,4-Di-tert-butylphenol (2,4-DTBP) is an endogenous metabolite with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities and induces the expression of apoptosis genes in cancer cell lines. 2,4-Di-tert-butylphenol also exhibits antiviral and antifungal activities[1].
