GlcNAc kinase (EcNagK) (N-Acetylglucosamine kinase) is a GlcNAc-metabolizing enzyme. GlcNAc kinase (EcNagK) transfers the gamma-phosphoryl group of an ATP onto the hydroxyl group at the C-6 of GlcNAc to generate a GlcNAc-6-P[1].
