Agrocinopine is a metabolite obtained from Agrobacterium-induced crown gall tumors in plants. It is composed of phosphorylated opines (such as agrocinopine A and B) and nitrogenous opines (such as nopaline). Agrocinopine can be transferred into plant cells via Ti plasmids and isolated from root nodules. Agrocinopine has potential roles in plant-microbe interactions and tumor development[1].
