Lincosamine
Lincosamine is a lincosamide antibiotic with activity that inhibits bacterial growth. Lincosamine is primarily produced by Streptomyces lincolnensis. Lincosamine has shown efficacy in combating certain bacterial infections, especially against Klebsiella pneumoniae. Lincosamine ranked among 14 other antimicrobial compounds in its activity against Klebsiella pneumoniae in a test[1].
