Octodrine (hydrochloride)
Octodrine (2-Amino-6-methylheptane) is a central nervous activator that increases the uptake of dopamine and noradrenaline. Octodrine is found to increase the pain threshold, cardiac rate (positive chronotropic effect) and myocardial contractility (positive inotropic effect) [1].
