Calcitonin/CALCA, Human (HEK293, Fc)

Selected Variant

HY-P77586-01

Size: 5 µg

Calcitonin/CALCA Protein (Human), a member of calcitonin-like protein family, is a peptide hormone secreted by parafollicular cells (C cells) of the thyroid (endostyle) . Calcitonin/CALCA Protein (Human) reduces blood calcium Ca2+ and inhibits the effects of parathyroid hormone (PTH), which is used an antagonist against PTH and Vitamin D3a. Calcitonin/CALCA Protein (Human) has been used widely for research of bone disorders such as osteoporosis, hypercalcemia, and Paget’s disease. Calcitonin/CALCA Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is a recombinant protein with a Fc label that consists of 141amino acids and is expressed in HEK293[1][2][3][4][5].
