α-Bulnesene is a novel PAF receptor antagonist with the IC50 of 17.62 μM. α-Bulnesene can be isolated from Pogostemon cablin. α-Bulnesene shows inhibitory effect on platelet-activating factor and arachidonic acid induced rabbit platelet aggregation[1].
