Phomopsis viticola TaqMan Probe/Primer and Control Set
Detection kits for the Phomopsis viticola Available in TaqMan format for analysis Phomopsis cane and leaf spot, caused by Phomopsis viticola, occurs in most grape-growing regions and is an important disease of grapes worldwide. The fungus attacks all green parts of the vine, including canes, leaves, flowers, rachises, and berries. However, most economic damage is caused by rachis and berry infection. Infected leaves have small, yellowish spots with dark brown centers and may be puckered. With successive cool, wet springs, the inoculum will build up and infections will become more severe over time. Since symptoms appear 21 to 30 days after infection, early detection of the pathogen in the vineyard is therefore crucial for its control. Phomopsis viticola TaqMan PCR Kit, 100 reactions Ready to use format, including Master Mix for the target and PCR control to monitor for PCR inhibition and validate the quality Specific Primer and Probe mix for the pathogen/virus/viroid of interest Primer and Probe mix Positive and negative control to confirm the integrity of the kit reagents Phomopsis viticola TaqMan PCR Probe/Primer Set and Controls, 100 reactions Specific Primer/Probe mix and Positive Control for the pathogen/virus/viroid of interest Nuclease-free water Can be used together with Norgen’s PCR Master Mix (#28007) or customer supplied master mix For research use only and NOT intended for in vitro diagnostics.
