CEVd TaqMan Probe/Primer and Control Set
Detection kits for Citrus Exocortis Viroid (CEVd) Available in TaqMan format for analysis Citrus Exocortis Viroid (CEVd) is a member of the genus Pospiviroid within the family Pospiviroidae. CEVd is the causal agent of the exocortis disease characterized by a bark shelling or scaling disorder of trifoliate orange used as rootstock. The citrange hybrids and Rangpur lime, both used as rootstocks, are also sensitive and develop bark scaling symptoms and stunting. Viroids are small plant pathogens consisting of a naked single-stranded circular RNA molecule of 246–475 nt, that do not encode any proteins but are endowed with autonomous replication in their host plants. Norgen’s Citrus Exocortis Viroid RT-PCR Detection Kit is a rapid and sensitive CEVd detection tool which can be applicable for the early diagnosis of CEVd. CEVd TaqMan RT-PCR Kit, 100 reactions Ready to use format, including Master Mix for the target and PCR control to monitor for PCR inhibition and validate the quality Specific Primer and Probe mix for the pathogen/virus/viroid of interest Primer and Probe mix Positive and negative control to confirm the integrity of the kit reagents CEVd TaqMan RT-PCR Probe/Primer Set and Controls, 100 reactions Specific Primer/Probe mix and Positive Control for the pathogen/virus/viroid of interest Nuclease-free water Can be used together with Norgen’s RT-PCR Master Mix (#28113) or customer supplied master mix For research use only and NOT intended for in vitro diagnostics.
