Anti-CD71 In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (T56/14) is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.

0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2, 150 mM NaCl with no carrier protein, potassium or preservatives added.

Antigen Distribution

The transferrin receptor is a cell surface glycoprotein related to cell proliferation. Up-regulation of the CD71 antigen is associated with actively dividing cells. Transferrin receptors are also present on reticulocytes, but are lost during maturation into erythrocytes.
