Sornidipine
Sornidipine is a calcium channel blocker. Sornidipine also reduces neurogenic inflammation. Sornidipine reduces the inflow of calcium ions into cells by blocking L-type calcium channels, thereby reducing the contraction of vascular smooth muscle, leading to vasodilation and decreased blood pressure. Sornidipine can be used to study the cardiovascular system especially in hypertension and related cardiovascular diseases[1].
