Dilution
For immunohistochemistry and Western blotting, dilutions to be used depend on detection system applied. It is recommended that users test the reagent and determine their own optimal dilutions. The typical starting working dilution is 1:50. For functional studies, in vitro dilutions have to be optimized in user’s experimental setting.
Form
1 ml (100 μg/ml) 0.2 μm filtered protein G purified antibody solution in PBS, containing 0.1% bovine serum albumin.
Storage Conditions
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes
For research use only.
Applications Notes
IHC-F:- Tissue sections were fixed in acetone. As negative control an irrelevant mouse IgG was used (Ref.2) . FS: Antibody clone BV4 inhibits the downstream activation, reducing the mitogenic effects of two of its ligands, VEGFR-2 and HIV-1-Tat. (Ref.1) . IP:clone BV4 precipitates beta3 integrin complexes from endothelial cell lysate. IHC-P: Tissue sections were deparaffinized in xylene and pretreated with 10mmol/l sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0
