Enables interleukin-27 receptor activity. Involved in negative regulation of T cell extravasation; negative regulation of T-helper 17 type immune response; and negative regulation of cytokine production. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including defense response to Gram-positive bacterium; positive regulation of interferon-gamma production; and regulation of adaptive immune response based on somatic recombination of immune receptors built from immunoglobulin superfamily domains. Predicted to be located in cytoplasm; extracellular region; and plasma membrane. Predicted to be part of interleukin-12 receptor complex and interleukin-23 receptor complex. Predicted to be active in external side of plasma membrane. Is expressed in decidua; decidua basalis; embryo; and extraembryonic component.
