Located in nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including eye; genitourinary system; pituitary gland; and trunk somite. Human ortholog (s) of this gene implicated in panhypopituitarism and pituitary gland disease. Orthologous to human POU1F1 (POU class 1 homeobox 1) .
