Located in euchromatin and nucleus. Part of Cdc73/Paf1 complex. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; genitourinary system; nervous system; respiratory system; and sensory organ. Human ortholog (s) of this gene implicated in autosomal dominant non-syndromic intellectual disability 23. Orthologous to human SETD5 (SET domain containing 5) .
