IFI6 polyclonal antibody
Product Specifications
Background
Interferon alpha-inducible protein 6 (IFI6) belongs to the ISG12 family of proteins and is a small, multipass transmembrane protein localized to mitochondrial membranes. IFI6 is one of the first interferon-stimulated genes to be identified and research studies have shown that IFI6 regulates apoptotic signaling pathways triggered in response to type-I interferons. In addition, IFI6 participates in type-I interferon-mediated antiviral signaling by mitigating viral replication.
