Offers a large dynamic range that can be better suited for high contrast imaging applications. Is preferred over Fluo-4 for some cell types. Fluo-3 K⁺ Salt is a membrane impermeable form of Fluo-3 that can be used in lipid membrane-free systems, in liposomes, or can be introduced into cells by electroporation, microinjection or other methods.
