Anti-inflammatory agent 45 (compound 2v) is an anticancer agent with direct inhibitory effects on the growth of different blood cancers including leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma cell lines. Anti-inflammatory agent 45 induces apoptosis and inhibits NO production in HL60 leukemia cells (IC50=14.7 μM) [1].
