Tubulin polymerization-IN-53 (compound 4b) is an inhibitor of β-tubulin polymerization. Tubulin polymerization-IN-53 can arrest the cell cycle at the G2/M stage. Tubulin polymerization-IN-53 has antiproliferative efficacy against the MDA-MB-231 cell line with an IC50 value of 3.24 μM[1].
