DNA gyrase B-IN-2 (Compound E) is a 2-aminobenzothiazole-based DNA gyrase B inhibitor with promising activity against ESKAPE bacterial pathogens. DNA gyrase B-IN-2 showed low nanomolar inhibition of DNA gyrase (IC50 E. coli, Acinetobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Klebsiella pneumoniae.DNA gyrase B-IN-2 can be used for the research of infection[1].
