TPEQM-DMA is a NIR-II photosensitizer. TPEQM-DMA accumulates in cancerous mitochondria, and inhibits cancer cell growth. TPEQM-DMA has potent type-I phototherapeutic efficacy to overcome the intrinsic pitfalls of PDT in combating hypoxic tumors[1].
