CAII-IN-1 (compound 3n), a thiosemicarbazide derivative, is a potent, selective carbonic anhydrase-II (CA-II) inhibitor with an IC50 value of 10.3 μM for bovine CA-II. CAII-IN-1 can be used in research of carbonic anhydrase related biological disorders[1].
