Galectin-3-IN-2 (Compound 9) is a potent multivalent inhibitor of galectin-3 (Gal-3; IC50=8.3 μM) . Galectin-3 participates in many cancer-related metabolic processes[1]. Galectin-3-IN-2 is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
