MsbA-IN-1 is a highly potent MsbA inhibitor with IC50 of 4 nM. MsbA-IN-1 has activity against wild-type E. coli with MIC of 79 μM. MsbA-IN-1 possesses sufficient permeability across the fully intact outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria to inhibit MsbA[1].
